The beans for the MUHABURA series come from bushes growing at altitudes above 2,000 meters in northern, western, and southern Rwanda. Grown in volcanic soil, it draws its qualities from the Land of a Thousand Hills. The fruit, nourished by crystal-clear water, ripens harmoniously in the rays of the equatorial sun. Always hand-picked and carefully sorted, the cherries undergo a wet, washed process . This process extracts the best of nature’s riches from the beans. A delicate sweetness, offset by a pleasant, fruity acidity, highlights the African character of this unique coffee.
