KIVU RESERVE black tea is the rarest and most exceptional of teas, grown in the mountainous plantations of western Rwanda, surrounded by the magical Lake KIVU. Hand-picked leaves, traditionally processed, create a delightful blend of aromatic notes of fruit and honey, culminating in a balanced, slightly astringent bitterness.

Recommended preparation:
Portion 3-4 g per 200 ml
Water temperature 90°C
Brewing time 2-4 minutes

Characteristics of tea

– Dry leaves –
Appearance: large, slightly twisted
Color: dark brown
Fragrance notes: stewed fruit, bread crust, spices

Fragrance notes: stewed fruit, honey, bread crust

Color: intense mahogany
Texture: slightly tart
Bouquet and flavor notes: stewed fruit, apricot, honey, accents of spices
