MUHABURA Funky stands out from other traditional Rwandan coffee processing methods. Its beans, still encased in the skin and pulp of fresh cherries, undergo anaerobic fermentation. In our case, this means an additional 72 hours in a closed environment, during which specific microorganisms and yeasts intensively transform organic compounds, creating unexpected and unique flavor combinations.
